Infocus projectors

What are Infocus presentation projectors?

In 2007 there were launched three new InFocus digital projectors, namely the IN35, IN35W and IN37, featuring Digital Light Processing (DLP) and BrilliantColor technology able to process six separate color such as red, green, blue, yellow, cyan and white.

The wide ranges of products manufactured by InFocus are both room and classroom oriented models able to satisfy a great variety of interests in digital projectors consequently InFocus designed several models suitable for business, education as well as home users.

The various models, based on DLP technology, are known to have features equal to first class projectors, such as the recent models of IN82 and IN83 operated by the Darkchip 3 and Darkchip 4 DLP processors provide a perfect color output, a sharper and brighter look to its images.

The IN82 and IN83 are known for their ease in calibration furthermore the brightness provided by the more than 1100 in best mode as well as the brighter aspect of the black levels cannot be disregarded. The seven segment color wheel grants a fine view of a rainbow-free image aspect with no shifts at the color level.

Interestingly enough, the size of the IN82 model would require some changes.

However, the black, sculpted with no hard edges projector works well as a ceiling suspended projector by means of the swivel and tilt provided by the manufacturer.

Regrettably, due to its ten kilogram-weight size, the IN82 model proves to be a problem when it comes about moving it to another place as well as the lack of lens shift feature is impractical if mounted on a rear wall.

The X1 and X2 InFocus digital projectors are more recent releases of InFocus Company. Nevertheless, X1 and X2 provide a much better image quality; they are among the lowest-priced projectors in DLP technology.

The 2000:1 contrast ratio makes them suitable for bright large rooms such as conference and assembly halls. Its modern technical features make possible computer plugging thus bringing about the possibility of showing presentations as well as watching movies or TV.

The massive and weighty size, the loud fan, the uneven focus and the manual shutdown procedure are overshadowed by the excellent brightness, the optical zoom lens, the InFocus projector bulbs and the quick start-up of the X2 model.

On digital projector market, InFocus produces low price projectors on DLP technology, sold through local dealers; moreover, the good price performance places it in the middle of considerable competitors.
